The database is being upgraded from Postgres 14 to Postgres 18. Postgres 14 reaches end of life in November, and this upgrade keeps the platform on a supported version for the next several years.
During the upgrade the server will be unavailable. The app will not be able to load balances, transactions, or vouchers, and scanning will not work. Any action attempted in that period will show an error and should simply be retried once the window has passed. No data will be lost, and nothing needs to be done beforehand.
